課程宗旨
完成課程後,學生可以:

了解有關自我心理學的理論和研究。

發展和加強自我概念,例如自我知識、真實我、理想我、自尊、自我調節、自我認知和情感發展,以及自我概念與社會之互動。

課程導師
曾珮寧女士
曾老師於香港大學攻讀社會科學學士學位課程(主修心理學和輔導),是一位具有通識和科學教學經驗的中學教師。她於香港中文大學學位教師教育文憑課程中獲得優異成績。另外,她亦曾被香港大學和加州大學(戴維斯分校)列入院長優異生名單。
曾老師的教育理念著重全人發展、並提升學生的學習自主性及興趣。於現今日新月異的世代中,莘莘學子將要面臨全球化帶來跨地域的急劇競爭,因此老師應幫助學生發掘及發揮自己的長處,裝備他們日後找緊機遇。
曾老師帶領過學生參與不少本地及海外的體驗式教育活動,包括美國的史丹福大學,加拿大的布雷西亞大學學院,清華大學和北京語言大學。另外,由曾老師帶領的三組中二至中四資優學生連續三年獲得聯合國教科文組織可持續發展教育學程的大獎(冠軍)。其中一隊更被應邀作為香港代表前往丹麥舉行的國際環境守護者青年會議上分享創新的可持續發展教育計劃:促進香港青少年可持續精神健康的方法。
憑著她的教育背景和作為輔導老師的前線經驗,她能為參與者提供多元化的職業生涯規劃資訊,同時提升學生的自主性,讓他們決定如何開闢自己的人生路。

Programme Objectives
Upon completion of the program, students are able to:

Programme Instructor
Ms. Ada Tsang
Ms. Tsang is a qualified local secondary school teacher with Liberal Studies and Sciences teaching experience. She was awarded with Distinction in Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programme from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Dean’s Honors List in the Bachelor of Social Sciences Programme (Double majoring in Psychology and Counselling) from the University of Hong Kong and University of California (Davis) respectively.
Ms. Tsang’s teaching philosophy is influenced by the person-centered approach promoted by Carl Rogers. She believes educators should promote students’ all-round development and to equip them to cope with unprecedented upcoming global changes. She aspires to create effective learning atmosphere and to cater for different individual educational needs in response to their giftedness.
Ms. Tsang has rich experience in supervising and mentoring students to develop their giftedness and talents in a wide range of local, national and global educational activities, including Stanford University in the United States, Brescia University College in Canada, Tsinghua University and Beijing Language and Culture University in Beijing. Three groups of S.2 to S.4 gifted students led by Ms. Tsang have won the Grand Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Project Award (Champion) in UNESCO HK ESD Learning Programme for 3 consecutive academic years from 2015-2018. One of the teams was invited to share their project: “Ways to Promote Sustainable Mental Wellness among Hong Kong Teenagers” as representatives of Hong Kong in the Caretakers of the Environment International Conference held in Denmark.
With her educational background and frontline experience as a counselling teacher, she is sensitive in discovering students’ social and emotional needs and is capable of developing appropriate preventive measures and intervention plans.
Medium of Instruction
Cantonese supplemented with English teaching materials
