年幼資優生總是展現「資優」跡象。作為父母,您可能會很高興看到這份才能,但又困惑自己該怎樣做。

你可能想知道:

- 我能如何支持年幼孩子茁壯成長?

- 評估有幫助嗎?從中會獲知什麼?

- 我 / 我的孩子準備好接受評估嗎?

- 現時有其他選項 /資源嗎?

我們誠邀請您参與由香港大學教育學院:融合與特殊教育研究發展中心【發展創意 施展才華】課程的課程發展總監的網上講座,為您展示可行的才華發展「路線圖」。

吳文潔女士

吳女士是香港大學教育學院:融合與特殊教育研究發展中心【發展創意 施展才華】課程的課程發展總監。她設計、教授、評估及支援【發展創意 施展才華】情意發展課程,推動中心學生課程發展。她於加拿大卑詩大學獲頒特殊教育碩士學位,主修資優教育。她是位資深社工、教師及正念修習者,正於香港大學教育文憑課程教授資優與才華發展課程及督導修讀資優與才華發展課程碩士生實習。

Seminar Objectives

  • Understand human development in relation with giftedness and talent development

  • Understand the rationale and challenges associated with the assessment for the  young gifted individuals

  • Nurture a supportive home environment for talent development 

  • Explore and identify appropriate resources to support talent development 

 

Seminar Outline

Young gifted learners always demonstrate early signs of giftedness. As parents, you will probably be thrilled to see such talents and yet confused about what you should do. You may wonder

  • What can I do to support my young child to thrive?

  • Can assessment help? What will it inform?

  • Am I / Is my young child ready for assessment?

  • What alternatives are available? 

Apart from the above mentioned, the way out is about grasping the core meaning of giftedness and talent development. 

We invite you to join us and let our programme director (curriculum development) to reveal the possible road map for you.

Speaker

Ms Jo Ng

Ms. Jo Ng is the Programme Director (Curriculum Development) of CAISE, HKU. She designs, conducts, evaluates and supports talent development through creativityprogrammes, mainly in the affective domain, as well as promoting curriculum development in CAISE. She received her Master’s degree in Special Education with Gifted Education Concentration from the University of British Columbia. Jo is an experienced social worker, teacher and mindfulness practitioner, currently teaching PGDE courses and supervise MEd students’ practicum in gifted and talent development at HKU.
