工作坊簡介

教導學員認識不同球類運動的科學及數學理論。並教導學員運動有關的簡單生理學如運動反應和動態平衡等。

工作坊目標

認識足球的數學及科學、桌球的科學、網球的科學、反應時間及動態平衡。要以足球驗證數學程式、練習香蕉射球(衝力射球)、測試學員反應、測試動態平衡。

​

目標對象

對運動，尤其是足球，感興趣的學生小四至中一學生。

謝志庭先生

​

科學世界有限公司之學術總監，科學世界有限公司曾贏得由新城電台及香港電腦商會合辦之《香港傑出數碼品牌大獎2017-「傑出STEM培訓中心」》大獎。擁有工程學碩士學位，亦於教師文憑中獲得A級成績，曾於跨國公司任職工程師；後任教超過三十年，至數學科科主任，任教經驗包括中學、任教中大校外課程二年多及短期任教師範學院(現香港教育大學)。現建立科學世界有限公司，負責學術發展及設計多個科學課程，並服務多間學校及機構。

 

現有為香港資優教育學苑設計及教導科學課程，為其教導資優兒童達4年。亦曾主持及籌辦26集關於科學的電台擴播節目-“科學世界”，並於香港電台數碼31台播出。曾於2022至2024年出版三本科幻小說，並主講兩場由香港科學館及香港共公圖書館主辦的講座。

Workshop Description

Scientific theories include science and mathematics of football, science of snooker, science of tennis, reaction time, static and dynamic balance.

Practical include verification of a mathematics formula using football, practice of banana (curly) shoot, test of reaction time and test of dynamic balance.

Workshop Objectives

​Teach children about the science and mathematics of different sports (including football, snooker and tennis) and some physiological aspects of sport such as human reaction time and balance.​

Mr. Tse Chi Ting, Felix

​

Academic director of Science World Limited which had won the “Hong Kong Digital Brand Awards 2017 - Outstanding STEM education centre” (elected by The Chamber of H.K. Computer Industry and Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited). Hold a Master degree in Electrical engineering and got distinction in Post-graduate Certificate of Education. Had been an engineer in an international listed company in early career and become a teacher for about 30 years afterwards. Teaching experience include teaching in secondary school (panel chairman of mathematics committee), teaching in the School of Continuing Studies of the CUHK (now CUSCS) for more than two years and short-term teaching in the Hong Kong Technical Teacher College (now Education University of Hong Kong).

 

Currently established “Science World Limited” and responsible for academic development and design of science programs. Science World Limited had served many schools and organizations.Have designed and taught science programs (forensic science, food science, renewable energy) for gifted children in the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education for four years (on-going). Also had run and host a radio broadcasted program (26 episodes) about science “Science World” broadcasted in RTHK DAB 31. Was also the author of three science fictions published in 2022 & 2024. The guest speaker in two public talks arranged by Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Public Libraries in Nov. 2023.
