黃先生擁有交通工程及規劃經驗，在十年的工作中，他曾任職公共交通的規劃、交通流量預測、交通工程、交通政策及策略研究等多方面工作。他曾於跨國顧問公司MVA及著名公共交通營運商工作，擁有前線交通營運和整體各公交的市場分析經驗。此外，他亦曾於Urban Spring Co. Ltd聯合開拓社企業務，主要是推動公眾使用飲水器代替飲料，推行持續發展的健康文化。他目前在德國的一所巴士公司任職管理層。
Mr. Quentin Cheng and Mr. Ben Hon
Quentin 和 Ben 是分別是公共運輸研究組的發言人及主席。他們及其組織有近十年的公共交通規劃經驗，曾為多個社區層面進行公共交通服務研究，包括數據收集、調查、分析等以達到多贏的局面。
Ms. Kristin Leung
Upon completion of the program, students are able to:
Have the opportunity to communicate their interest,
knowledge, creative ideas about transport;
Have their interest, knowledge, and creative ideas affirmed,
improved and further extended through the interaction
with peers and experts;
Learn from the experience of adult experts in transport, and be stimulated to think more deeply about transport through learning interesting story cases and problems that the experts have come across;
Begin to think more about what the interest can have meaning to their own life and career development;
Acquire more knowledge about realistic operation and challenges in major transport services through data application, diversity and multiple perspectives alongside with professional experts, who have experience in planning project in most cities in Asia, Hong Kong and Germany, and appreciate their connection to subject discipline knowledge and creative ideas.
Be motivated to identify problems and possible innovations in transport for society, and to carry out useful informational, conceptual and practical studies about the topics.
Session 1 :

- past planning projects in Hong Kong and around the world

Session 2 :
How to ……
- Achieve integrated land-use and transport planning with case study
- Cater for future population growth in Hong Kong in general
- Any interesting/ meaningful planning issue that warrants our attention
Session 3 :
- Municipal planning of railways – with support of real cases and work experience in metropolitans
- Role of consultancy and various stake holders
- By an ex-director of a transport planning consultancy company
Session 4 :
- Public transport planning and operation in Germany
- Experience working in Germany bus operator vis-à-vis
Session 5 :
- UK’s urban planning strategies and culture
- By a graduate of University College of London in urban planning
Session 6 :
- With reference to other Asian countries’ examples, how can the current public transport and planning in HK be better
- How the public can make a positive and substantial contribution
Session 7 :
- Students share their work product
- Career and study exploration
Target Participants / Prerequisite
P6 – S5 Students who are transport enthusiasts with sustained interest in transport, and with much interest in creative thinking about transport and city planning and sustainable development.
Please write about 100-200 words to describe your interest in this area of transport and city planning, including what you have done in this relevant area so far and why do you want to join this programme. Please also submit any work of yours in this area (e.g. you may have created a city or a bus company by your own imagination or study, or made some relevant drawings, models or design). You can submit several photos of your activities or products to let us understand you more.

Dr. KI Wing Wah
Ki is an honorary associate professor of Faculty of Education, HKU. He had over 30 years of teacher training and research experience on learning, thinking and moral development in various disciplines including mathematics, computer technologies, liberal studies, languages, about learners of diverse abilities ranging from students with special needs to exceptional talents.
Mr. Tonny CHUNG
Tonny is an international multi-disciplinary consultant with over 30 years of experience in the region, specializing in public transport planning (including railway, station, bus and pedestrian planning). Since the early 1990’s, he has been a founding and leading member of both the Transport Planning Team and the Business/Market/Social Research Team in MVA, the largest consultancy in transport planning in Asia. He has worked in a number of countries in Asia including China, Vietnam, Singapore and Australia.
Mr. Leo WONG
Leo is a passionate all-rounded transport planner with 10 years of experience in public transport planning, transport demand modeling, traffic engineering and transport policy and strategy. He has working experience in multi-national consultancy firm and key public transport operators, and obtained both frontline operational experience and market analysis of different mode of public transport. Besides, he was also one of the founders for Urban Spring Co. Ltd, a start-up social enterprise concerned with plastic waste and drinking water, promoting sustainable living. He is now working in a bus operator in Germany.

Quentin and Ben are spokesman and Chairman of Public Transport Research Team, which is a research group having 10 years of experience for many districts’ studies in Hong Kong; how public transport can be improved and achieve maximum benefits. They teach how public transport studies are data and evidence based driven that can give sound support for enhancement.
Ms. Kristin LEUNG
Kristin is an urbanist, she studied urban planning, design and management at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London; She loves photography, urban design, typography in the city, coffee and a lot of things. She is fresh out of college and currently a slasher working on placemaking and community bottom-up planning, open space research and design strategy at Neighbourhood Innovation Lab, a barista, a graphic designer and a photographer.
Mr. Yutin KI (Honorary Educational Advisor)
Yutin is the founding Chairman of HK Association for Transport Education. He had been a transport planner, involved in a number of large scale planning projects in Pearl River Delta region and Hong Kong. Recent years, he becomes a teacher, teaching geography and liberal studies teachers in secondary schools of different banding, teaching students with diverse ability levels. He has also been head of Career & Guidance in a secondary school. He has supervised students winning the champion of an open competition held by CILTHK on sustainable planning.
