4-day Day Camp for Creativity and Talent Development
AROUND THE WORLD IN FOUR DAYS
This camp is designed to stimulate thinking, nurture creativity, and encourage problem solving in talented students from Grade 3 to Grade 6. Students will explore and discuss contemporary issues and future needs of the world in the areas of science and arts.
20 - 23 July 2016 (Wed - Sat)
Grade 3 to Grade 6 students
(Max. 45 students, 10-15 students per course)

HK$5,500 (including three lunches, course materials, entrance to all activities in the Camp)
Participants who have received book subsidies in their schools may apply for the fee to be waived.
Early bird discount: HK$5,000 on or before 15 May 2016
Children will be engaged in 3 hours of Mindful Practice.
Children will be engaged in 4 hours of Social Games.
Children may choose one 10-hour course according to their interests. Each course will have 5 sessions.

4. Children will be guided in a 2-hour historical campus tour around HKU. The campus tour will introduce participants to
how the university's historic buildings have witnessed the development of the hundred-year-old University.

The Camp will be facilitated by teachers, guidance practitioners, expert staff from HKU, and postgraduates or alumni.

Strengths and Need Assessment
Parents will be invited to fill in an Online Survey on Parents’ Beliefs and Practices in Nurturing Children’s Creativity and Talent Development. At the end of the course, instructors will provide written feedback to each participant.
Donations to CAISE are welcome. These will be used to support talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds to participate in the Four-Day Camp for Creativity and Talent Development.
